It’s Oprah’s fault.
Back in 1999 when Disney Cruise Line launched the 2nd ship in its fleet, they ran a promotion with WCVB during its daily Oprah broadcast. So, during the commercial break, when they announced my mom’s name and said she had 15 minutes to call the station and claim her prize, our phone rang off the hook! Anyone who was watching did not want us to miss out on a complimentary trip for 4 on the all-new Disney Wonder.
And man, this trip did not disappoint.
I’ve been planning Disney and Universal itineraries ever since. I’ve hacked the cheapest deals possible, been boujee on a budget, and even convinced my family to take part in a few “once-in-a-lifetime” add-ons. There’s always something new to try and I am having so much fun experiencing the magic all over again with my boys. May the adventures continue!
